Wednesday 23 March at 8:30pm we’ll go live again with a spoken word performance, open mic, some music at the end.
Location: DeBarra’s Folk Club, Pearse  Street, Clonakilty, Ireland … Where it all started.
24-year old Eiméid Ó’Briain aka Emmet O’Brien, all the way from Dublin, is not just an excellent performer but also very attuned to his audience … As we found during his zoom reading on May 9th (see below for the link).

To quote Hotpress, “Emmet O’Brien is not your generic poet. Bursting onto the scene in March 2017, Emmet has not only released three books, but he is also a rapper, event organizer, playwright, and podcaster.” A prolific and passionate performer with many dedicated fans, Eiméid is now going live again.

Following the performance there will be a Q&A or let’s call it a conversation.
Then the Open Mic. Hoping to see familiar as well as new faces but above all, something tangible in uncertain times.

At the end of the evening, LIVE music featuring among others, poets/musicians Paul McMahon and Thaddeus Ó Buachalla.

Going hybrid or a Star Trek transporter are not yet within our reach so this is for people who are physically present in Ireland but we will also be back on Zoom in mid-April, details to be announced.

If you can make it, you’re  very welcome!
