Random Acts Of Kindness Festival:The Ceili Nun
This July, the town of Clonakilty, welcomes you to the very first 'Random Acts of Kindness Festival'. This unique event will bring everyone in the community together, including businesses, voluntary organisations and individuals for one special weekend. The festival will celebrate, encourage and showcase the kindness, the spirit and the welcoming nature not just of Clonakilty but of the Irish people.
THE CEILI NUN:
Sister Mary Benildus returns to DeBarras following growing popularity (among Christians and indeed other religious denominations) due to some high profile festival appearances and a visit to the recent Eucharistic congress in Dublin. Here in DeBarras as part of the Random Acts of Kindness Festival she will guide us all through that oldest of Irish pastimes the Ceili, armed with a 32’ metal ruler and guided by devotional Faith, don’t get too close to your partner or you’ll receive a righteous blow & an evangelical giving out to!
