Friends…

We’re looking forward to seeing you all back here at DeBarras…its been a awhile..

but before we do, here’s some of the safety measures & procedures we’re implementing to make your return visit as comfortable and familiar as we can. NB* Please note that operating procedures in these wild times are a work in progress and subject to Levels laid out in the National Framework for Living with Covid 19. As such our house rules and restrictions will change accordingly.

FIRSTLY:

If you are feeling unwell or displaying covid 19 symptoms stay at home and follow relevant advice. For more details on this click here:  HSE guidelines for Symptoms

We are operating at reduced capacity.

We are following all recommended safety & cleaning protocols.

All members of staff take their temperature upon arrival & have completed ‘Back to work safety’ workshops and filled out ‘Return to Work Declarations’.

All members of staff are wearing face masks.

& we ask you to do the same.

 

ARRIVAL:

Please enter via our beautiful award winning shopfront on Pearse St.

Please wear a mask.

Please be kind.

Upon arrival please wait to be seated, we have created a small lobby area inside the front door.

Here you will be met by a member of staff  & we will explain a few house rules .

If someone is in front of you please be patient & wait outside.

We will take your details for contact tracing. 

We will keep these details for 28 days as per requirement.

We will NOT sell your details to Mark Zuckerberg or any other super villain.

While we accept walk-ins – in order not to be disappointed we recommend you book in advance.

NB: emails are checked between 10am- 4pm  every day- so at least 24hr notice is advised-

NB Group sizes are subject to current safety guidelines. We will do our best to update these here as they change however this will not always be possible to do instantly.  As a general rule while at level 2 we can accept a maximum group of 6 people from three households. No more. So don’t ask. You can find more details here GOV.IE

 

IN DEBARRAS:

In DeBarras all our staff are wearing masks.

We ask you to do the same.

After we have received your details

We will take you to your seat where we shall wait on you hand and foot.

Once seated table service will be provided.

We ask you to pay as you go.

We accept credit cards & cash.

 

LEAVING YOUR SEAT:

If you leave your seat- please put your mask back on.

Please dont loiter,

Please dont join other tables.

Please dont shout or raise your voice.

Please wash your hands.

HAND SANITISERS & TOILETS:

Hand sanitisers are provided on all the tables and at mounted points throughout the building including entrances & exits.

Should you need to use the bathroom (again please wear your mask) be aware that they are currently operating with a maximum occupancy of 2 people.

Remember DeBarras is a 200 year old building with one or two pinch points…so take your time & dont leave your wee wees until the last minute…Signage and marked out waiting points will guide you on your journey. & needless to say- Wash your hands after….

 

BEER GARDEN:

Our Beer garden too is operating at reduced capacity.

It currently has three tables.

While in our beer garden you must remain seated at one of these tables. 

Maximum group of 6 ppl (from three households) at each table.

Please respect these limits.

Dont stand.

Dont move your seats.

Dont join other tables.
