A celebration of the life & career of Noel Redding. Bass player with the Jimi Hendrix Experience.

This 11th of May 2011 will see the 9 year anniversary of Noel Redding’s passing.
As the original Bass player with The Jimi Hendrix Experience Noel’s contribution to rock n roll’ will echo throughout musical history. As a member of this band Noel helped redefine the face of music and popular culture, helping the Jimi Hendrix Experience to become one of the most recognisable and influential bands of all time!

For the last 27 years of his life Noel Lived in West Cork & played DeBarra's regularly.

Today Noel's musical legacy lives on, not just in DeBarra's but in the music Festivals, recording studios, and thriving music scene that West cork is synonymous with.

DeBarra's are delighted to be named as one of the Top Ten Surf Pubs in Ireland in The Irish Surf Magazine 'TONNTA's special 10th Edition.

West Cork has become increasingly popular in the past few years with surfers from all over the world attracted to its beautiful beaches, waves and friendly hospitality. Great pints of stout and great music of course have also been a factor!

Well lads let me tell you about my lovely RESIDENCY in DE BARRA’S, CLONAKILTY, WEST CORK!

De Barra's Folk Club, Clonakilty has been short listed for the 'IMRO Munster Live Music Venue of the Year Award', 'IMRO LIVE MUSIC VENUE OF THE YEAR AWARDS 2010' & the 'Hot Press Venue of the Year Award'

To be short listed for these awards is a great honour for De Barras and puts the little venue in Clonakilty, West Cork in the same company as renowned theatres, arenas and concert halls throughout the country.

Thanks to all who continue to support live music in De Barras and at other venues.
